Community Service Projects

At Ethos, we believe that we are blessed with the ability to serve others. This can happen in a number of ways such as offering pro-bono or discounted design fees, sending or sponsoring our team members on a fundraising or work trip, or donating time and money to local organizations to show our support. We offer each full-time team member an extra week away from work to volunteer their services to an organization of their choice and we are so excited to hear the stories of their success.

Chosen Children Ministries House Build Trip

Nicaragua

In 2019, Nicolai Oliden teamed up with Chosen Children Ministries and a group from Mesa, AZ to head down to Nicaragua for one week to build a house for a deserving family. After arriving to Nicaragua, the team learned that the family was only 3 teenage sisters who had been abandoned by their parents years before. They had been living in a 10ft x10ft hut with mud floors which unfortunately flooded every time it rained due to being located on the low side of the property. The team took 5 days to build a 18ft x 18ft steel shelter with a concrete foundation and furnished with new beds, tables, and kitchen items. Nicolai said, "the experience was incredible and very humbling to see how happy people were with so little".

Hartford Elementary School Teacher Appreciation

Chandler, AZ

At Ethos, we have a heart for teachers. We believe teachers are some of the most underappreciated professions one can enter. Hartford Elementary School in Chandler, AZ is a Title 1 school where a majority of students receive weekly food to eat from school programs. We absolutely love these teachers and are so happy we can show some appreciation to them. Each year since 2018, Ethos has adopted this school and catered lunch, breakfast, coffee carts, and provided each teacher with a Target gift card.
